Principal Consultant – Financial Services Industry Expert (Management Consulting role)

Our Client is a Fortune 500 IT Solutions Vendor. They are currently looking for a high calibre to join them as a Senior FSI Business Developer (Principal Consultant) to cover Greater China region.

 

Responsibilities

• Provide senior strategic sales cycle support on industry specific solutions, and develop use cases and articulate business value during pre-sales and sales engagement
• Responsible for demand generation, industry pipeline build strategies and development of scale initiatives resulting in increased pipeline, revenue and in elevating the Company’s leadership position in FSI segment
• Work closely with the Demand Generation, Services Sales and Services Delivery Teams to ensure the use cases & business values has been well-integrated with solutions and well-accepted by customers
• Utilize proprietary industry knowledge and understanding of the customer’s requirements, to well pass to the technical architects to develop solution architecture
• Work with senior management levels of the customer, including SVP, VP, Director and/or Managers with banks or financial institutions
• Identify, develop and execute targeted sales opportunities within FSI segment; lead and execute the Go-To-Market plans for the Industry, and assume a leadership role in devising solution strategies in targeted sales cycles
• Act as trusted advisor and industry expert for customers, drive industry credibility to influence the markets opinion of the Company’s solution offerings, and help customers become best run business in their industry
• Deliver well-organized presentations which successfully demonstrate clear and convincing industry trend/insight

 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or relevant discipline; MBA will be a definite advantage
• At least 15 years of prior experience with a demonstrated expertise in Banking & Finance; preferably with management consulting experience
• Possess consulting experience with a major firm and a breadth of experience across multiple project engagements
• Solid project/program management experience in large-scale business transformation projects within a matrix organization structure in the Banking & Finance segment
• Proven track record of success in the Banking & Finance area, and capable of leveraging an extensive network to result in pipeline and revenue growth
• Experience in campaign management including marketing initiatives and key business drivers
• Excellent presentation and customer facing skills
• Strong problem solver with good lateral thinking
• Fluency in English is a MUST; Fluency in Cantonese & Mandarin is highly desirable
• Willing to travel periodically across Greater China regions if needed
