Software Testing Engineer (Manager) –based in Shanghai

Our client is a global software vendor for enterprise content management solution both for on premises and cloud based.  The solution covering business process automation, workflow, records management, document imaging and web-form software. They have been recognized in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for ECM for years.   They are looking into recruit a new member into their software testing team to expand their team size.

 

Responsibilities:


• Design and execute end to end test plans, test cases, and review test results
• Set priorities for the team and assign resources
• Provide regular test team’s status
• Establish best practices for testing
• Define and present metrics that help to improve test and development quality
• Mentor team members and provide suitable guidance
• Flexibility to work with remote team across different time zones (US team)
• Build strong cross-functional relationships

 

Requirements:


• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in Software QA, and 1+ year of experience in team leader role
• Strong knowledge in identifying and implementing test plans and experience in reviewing test plans, test cases, and test results
• Perform general tests, stress tests, and scalability tests to ensure new release’s quality
• Proven experience of people management skills with ability to hire and retain QA team consisting of QAE and SDTE’s
• Excellent project management skills, agile development environment experience is preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin
• Highly motivated and be a quick learner
