Head of IT Security & Governance (based in HK)-BANKING INDUSTRY
Our client is one of the famous retail banks in Hong Kong. They are seeking an experienced IT professional, report directly to CIO, to join their elite team.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the operation of IT security and governance team, including IT security & governance, and technology risk management
• Work with internal and external audit teams, monitor and maintain the compliance of overall IT practices to align with technology security policies
• Work closely with vendors, consultants, internal BU and regulators
• Identify and report IT security risks to management, propose relevant solution and oversee the implementation
• Understand the latest information security technologies and regulatory developments related to information security
• Assist in drafting and implementing general IT security strategies, update polices, guidelines and standards
Requirements:
• University graduate in Information Technology or related discipline
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the RETAIL BANKING Industry, with at least 5 years of experience in management of IT Security and Governance
• Solid experience in Information security, IT quality assurance, project management, risk management, data center operations and security, and IT regulatory compliance
• Hands-on experience of process improvement, BCP & Disaster recovery and compliance review
• Good understanding of HKMA’s requirements and regulations
• Good communication skills in both verbal and written English and Chinese (Cantonese)
