Customer Support Engineer (Japanese Speaking)

Our client is a Global vendor of providing networking services and communications platform for the banking and finance industry.  Due to rapid growth, they are seeking for a Customer Support Engineer based in Hong Kong. Ideal candidate must be customer-oriented, technically strong, and able to communicate in Fluent English and Japanese. 

 

Responsibilities: 

• Deliver quality service to customers by responding to all incoming queries via phone, internet, email, etc.
• Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve technical problems for customers
• Provide first level technical support, escalate the issue if necessary
• Provide product related consulting to customers
• Participate in technical reviews and conduct product presentations and demos
• Maintain customer relationships and build customer satisfaction with assigned customers by performing regular health checks on their systems
• Participate in service improvement projects and provide recommendations for improvements

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related disciplines
• Around 2-5 years in technical support with customer facing experience
• Solid experience with AIX, Solaris, Linux, WIN2008, TCP/IP
• Good knowledge in Routers, VPN, and Firewalls
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Able to work in a Team and Multicultural environment
• Excellent Communication and skills in both verbal and written English and Japanese
