System Analyst (MIS)
Our client is a well established bank in Hong Kong. They are now looking for a System Analyst with banking experience to join their MIS team. Reporting to Head of Application Development, and be responsible of the full Software Development Life Cycle.
Responsibilities:
• Represent Application Development team to communicate with business stakeholders to work on Core banking system’s on-going support and enhancement
• Liaise with IT team, business users and IT vendors on logical database design and delivery services to enhance the Core banking system
• Provide accurate and timely project updates and documentations; facilitate with key stakeholders and external vendors to achieve project deliverables. Deliver in compliance with internal audit, technology risk and external regulators requirements
• Prepare functional /technical design and perform database, stored procedure, and SQL tuning
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or related discipline
• 5- 10 years of work experience in IT Support and data mining in banking industry
• Good technical skill sets in any of the following: MS Excel, MS Access, VBA, DataStage, Oracle or SQL Server administration, troubleshooting and bug fixing
• Experience with Finacle Core Banking System is highly preferable
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Highly autonomous, excellent Interpersonal skills, and team player
• Strong communications skills in both verbal and written English and Chinese
