Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)- based in Hong Kong or Singapore

We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join one of our clients to be based in either Hong Kong or Singapore. Our client is a worldwide provider of business and technology consulting services and solutions.  The CMO is responsible to oversee all marketing operations of the company and develop its marketing strategy and vision. He / she will be in-charge of a Regional (APAC) team of enthusiastic marketing professionals and will direct the marketing efforts towards great success. 



Responsibilities:


• Set marketing goals and objectives for the business
• Develop / improve the structure of the marketing department
• Plan, develop and manage feasible marketing strategy and plan by working closely with the CEO, the CFO, and the Country Managing Directors
• Work closely with Sales team to spot opportunities in the market and drive revenue by increasing sales through marketing activities
• Drive sales pipeline via lead generation, lead nurturing and demand gen programs
• Acquire reliable and comprehensive data through analysis of markets, competitors, and historical performance to make decisions
• Take responsibility for the look and content of the company website and social media outlets
• Build and maintain good business rapport with key executives and decision makers, press, industry relation analysts and the partner ecosystem
• Support local events and grow online user community
• Stay up to date with the latest marketing technologies and best practices

 

Requirements:


• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or any other disciplines
• Around 20 years of well-rounded marketing or business development experience
• At least 10 years of experience in a leadership role to lead and inspire a regional team
• Capability to develop and execute standard corporate process and procedure for marketing, and strategic marketing plans to generate sales lead
• Strong background in Sales-Side Marketing including lead and demand generation
• Extensive experience in Hi-Tech Professional Services industry. Candidates from business technology consulting is highly preferred
• Good knowledge in Digital Marketing, including various social media
• Creative and willing to take risk and build things from scratch
• Excellent communication skills in both English & Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)
