Sales Manager, Oceania (Individual Contributor role)

Our client is a global leader of Messaging Technology Company planning to grow their business in the Pacific region. They have customers in over 200 countries. They are looking for a commercial director to expand their sales team based in Sydney covering ANZ and Pacific islands.

  Responsibilities

• This is both an account management role and a business development role. You will have some existing clients and some target customers to acquire
• Target markets are telecom and global enterprises except banking.  Your key customer contacts are Group Treasurer, CFO and COO levels
• Large account management for existing clients and identify opportunity to sell more products and services to existing clients
• Contribute customer and market intelligence to the relevant regional market and product managers
• Represent the company to speak and participate at selected industry events

 

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in selling to Telecom industry or commercial sectors except banking
• Achieved annual sales quota in last 2 years
• Knowledge of corporate treasury operations and associated technology including treasury systems and ERP systems
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues from other teams, geographies and cultures
• Must deliver clear, concise and convincing written and verbal communications and strong presentations skills
• Fluent spoken and written English
