Desktop Support Engineer (i-Bank)

Our client, a prestige global investment bank, is seeking for a bright individual to join their IT Support Team in Hong Kong to support Front Office and Trade Floor.


• Provide First Level  IT User support
• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving for both IT Hardware and Applications in a timely manner
• Support all IT related issues
• Serve Front Office including Trade Floor
• Work closely with the IT Support team members


• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
• Around 1.5 years of experience in providing First Level IT Support, preferably in the Financial Services Industry
• Experience in Trade Floor or Front Office environment will definitely be an advantage
• Solid experience in supporting MS Windows Configuration, WIN7, MS Office Suite and be able to handle IT hardware and peripherals
• Basic understanding of network and server side infrastructure
• Knowledge in Blackberry Handheld is preferable
• Good analytical and problem solving skills; service oriented with excellent customer facing skills
• Must be a good team player, independent, and be able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Strong communication skills in both verbal and written English and able to speak Cantonese is a MUST
